DWG Plotter Your drawings are never uploaded

Convert DWG to PDF.
Free, in your browser.

Open DWG and DXF drawings without AutoCAD. No software needed, nothing uploaded.

No drawing to hand?

Your drawing is never uploaded. If it links to other DWG files (xrefs), drop them in together.

DWG to PDF, without AutoCAD

Drop in a DWG or DXF drawing and save it as a PDF. Every layout in the file is listed, and each sheet prints as drawn, with its lineweights and linetypes. Drawings that keep everything in the model are cut into their real drawings by Smart plot.

Your drawing stays on your computer

The file is read and converted in your own browser. It is not uploaded to a server, so it is safe to use with client and confidential drawings. There is no sign-up and nothing to install.

Why use DWG Plotter

  • Sharp vector PDFs. Lines and text stay crisp at any zoom, and the file stays small. Many online converters give you a picture of the drawing instead.
  • Every sheet, as drawn. Each layout prints at its own sheet size, not squeezed onto A4. Save them as one combined PDF or as separate files.
  • Plotted like the real thing. Black and white with lineweights, like a monochrome plot style, or full colour.
  • Linked drawings included. Drop in the xref files with the main drawing and they are drawn in place.
  • Nothing uploaded, ever. Most converters send your file to their server. Here it never leaves your computer, and the source code is public so anyone can check.
  • Free, with no catch. No sign-up, no watermark, no daily limit.

Questions

Is it really free?

Yes. There is no sign-up, no watermark and no limit on how many drawings you convert. It is open-source software.

Is my drawing uploaded anywhere?

No. The drawing is read and converted inside your browser, on your own computer. It is never sent to a server.

Which DWG versions can it open?

Drawings saved from AutoCAD R14 up to the current 2018 format, and DXF files. Very old or damaged files may not open.

Does it work on a Mac, a Chromebook or a phone?

Yes. It runs in any modern browser, including Chrome, Edge, Firefox and Safari. Nothing needs to be installed.

Can I print several sheets at once?

Yes. Tick the layouts you want and save them as one combined PDF, or as separate PDFs in a zip file.
